I was Laurens birthday a few days ago, so I wasnted to give her a present. I had been playing Final Fantasy X-2 and had just finished the cactuar quest when I though "Hey! wouldnt it be cool to make a cactuar plushy?" Unfortuatly Lauren was coming over to my house tomorrow, so I had to be quite. It was then that I notices that all of my suitable green fabric consisted of a square foot of felt. It wasnt enough for that big giant cactuar that I had dreamed of, but it would do. So that night, in between finishing my Link costume for CN, I made a tiny little cactuar.
It's a pretty simple design. Just some stuffed felt, permanent marker for the lines and eyes, and some black pipe cleaners for the top. Its the thought that counts, right?
Guess what? I even have a video of Lauren "walking" her new cactuar!
